Sustainable use

  • With leather shoes, apply the shoe polish or cream evenly with a brush or soft cloth and leave to dry. Then buff to a brilliant shine using a natural bristle brush.

  • Instant-shine liquids are convenient if you’re short of time. Remove excess dirt and apply evenly to restore colour and shine without buffing.

  • Store leather shoes with a ‘shoe tree’ to keep the shape . If you can’t use a shoe tree, stuff the toe cap with newspaper or tissue.

  • Don’t forget to polish and waterproof outdoor and sports shoes regularly too.

  • You will extend the life of golf shoes, football boots and hiking boots with shoe care products.

  • Use a shoe freshener to control shoe and trainer odours and keep them smelling fresh.

  • Take extra care of suede and nubuck shoes. Clean and waterproof them regularly.

  • If shoes get wet, fill them with newspaper while they dry to retain their shape. Allow them to dry naturally away from direct heat and then brush them with a soft brush.
